Lost Meadow Studios is a conservation visual storytelling initiative.
Lost Meadows was created as a way to share conservation and nature photography and video projects, while connecting with others about the eco-grief and anxiety that we face. It’s here that we’ll explore stories of hope, resilience, creativity, and change in the face of a daunting world. What meadows are we losing and what can we still save?
I hope you’ll join me.
Howdy! 👋
Thanks so much for finding our community! My name is Cassidy Quistorff (she/her) and I’m the face behind Lost Meadow Studios.
Having grown up in the suburbs of Memphis, Tennessee, there weren’t many opportunities for me to connect with nature. In college I began to hike, backpack, climb, and mountain bike and I obtained my B.S. in Environmental and Soil Science with the intention to use my science background to help communicate the importance of conservation work and our connection with the natural world. Since then, I’ve worked with groups like the Virginia Water Resources Research Center, Trout Unlimited, NOAA, and wildlife rehab facilities to help tell their stories and share their work through film, photography, and writing.
